Mother's Day & Willow Park Zoo

I had to work on the real Mother's Day so we celebrated on Saturday instead. We filled our day. First was our Bountiful Basket. Pretty good load of stuff.
Corn, cabbage, lettuce, artichokes, cucumbers, green peppers, broccoli, bananas, apples, cantaloup, watermelon

Then I went and cut my hair. No pics of that. Maybe after I style it, but right now it's fluffy. Then we packed up the stroller and headed over to Willow Park. We went to the farmer's market first and I LOVE the location! I love the layout. I love it all! We got the girls some gelato and each got an Itty Bitty Kitty from my friend Dani. And then we got them some balloon animals, that didn't last that long, but it entertained them for a bit. And lastly we got a loaf of sourdough bread from Crumb Bros. Mike got a business card about a co-op type deal for grass-fed beef. Kinda cool. After we were done at the market, we headed over to the zoo. They were having "What's New at the Zoo" and there were activities scattered around the zoo. They've moved some things around and although I didn't really see many new things, I love our little zoo. We go a few times a year and I always get pics, even though they're the same animals every time. Ha, ha. Here's our pics!

Green birds. Can't remember what kind

Boa Constrictor. Eww

Big owl. She has a broken wing.

I can't remember what they're called but they're related to elephants.
My battery on my camera died right when I was going to take a picture of the monkeys. Boo.

So then we walked home. We got Jimmy John's delivered for lunch. The little girls took a nap. Dinner was supposed to be grilled chicken, but we went to El Toro instead. Girls behaved so nicely and I got to enjoy a margarita! We were going to get milk shakes on the way home, but Bethany threw up all over herself and the carseat so we had to clean her up instead. Happy Mother's Day! Ha ha.
